Tokyo Game Show is big in Japan – and actually, the world. That’s hardly surprising given its huge scale: with over 345 global exhibitors from 36 countries and 270,000 attendees, it’s the country’s largest annual gaming event, catering to fans and industry folks alike.
The crobo team will be attending the upcoming Tokyo Game Show on the 22nd of September 2017, as will major publishers and console companies including the likes of Sony, Nintendo, Capcom and Sega. The prestigious conference will also have a strong mobile gaming and indie presence.

With APAC fast-becoming one of the most important digital advertising markets in the world, TGS is now a primal hub for gaming experts to connect with each other in the region between September 21st and 24th. Whilst we will be making the most of the designated “Business Area” and “Business Meeting area” for our meetings, there is no way we would miss out on exploring the conference grounds, as there is much to be discovered!
Due to Japan being at the forefront of tech innovation, this year’s theme is “Reality Unlocked” there will be a huge focus placed on this topic, so we’ll check out the VR / AR (augmented reality) / MR (mixed reality) area with over 40 exhibitors. We’ll also witness intense competition on the e-Sports Stage, where famous gamers will play in smartphone games and video games tournaments.
While the first two days are open to the industry and press only, day three and four cater to the game-hungry masses of fanatical players keen to test new titles. With Tokyo being the original home of cos-players, we can also expect one of the biggest gatherings of cos-players in the world.
