Team crobo is heading to Moscow on October 10-11 for the White Nights Conference, to meet the brightest mobile gaming minds of the region and discuss latest industry trends, monetization, user acquisition and retention topics. We’ll also be checking out the best new gaming titles under the roof of the Radisson Royal Hotel.
The gaming business conference is organized by Nevosoft, a St. Petersburg-based casual game developer and publisher, and is named after the white nights season which occurs between May and June in St. Petersburg, when it doesn’t get dark. That’s where the first White Nights conference was held and still takes place in June. The conference also spawned White Nights Moscow and White Nights Prague, taking place in February.
Not only will there be a solid list of international speakers present at the event, but also fantastic networking opportunities that will see indie game dev guys rub shoulders with big gaming powerhouses such as King, Facebook, Big Fish and Miscrosoft. Also interestingly, the event doesn’t start early in the morning, allowing developers to have a more productive business day.
In our recent industry insights piece about Russian mobile gaming studios, we explained how and why Russia has grown into one of the strongest markets for mobile gaming and a hub for indie developers. So, it makes sense for the Russian capital to be hosting the event, which attracts more than 4000 visitors each year. Now a megalopolis with more than 12 million inhabitants, Moscow is still characteristically known for the onion domes of Saint Basil’s cathedral overlooking the Red Square, rather than the modern skyscrapers which are dominating its skyline. The rapidly changing city is now home to a thriving tech scene, offering fertile soil for the mobile gaming industry to develop its potential further.
With crobo’s expertise in driving user acquisition and retention within the mobile gaming market internationally, we’re looking forward to showcasing our solutions to game developers, publishing houses and meeting with industry-leaders to learn about the latest trends.
